Relax in the shade beneath one of the many mature trees in this quiet, green space. There is a tennis court and a playground for young children.
At the main entrance there stands a tall Bath stone pillar with a crenellated top. It was part of the original grand gateway, when the park was laid out in 1891. Of its pair only the base is in place, and the top lies in two large segments on the ground.
