Greenbank Cemetery

Established in 1871, this was one of Bristol’s first large cemeteries. It contains memorials to the civilians who died during the Bristol Blitz and the graves of British, Commonwealth and German Luftwaffe service people who were killed during the war.

Did you know?

This was the first large cemetery, after Arnos Vale Cemetery, to be set up in Bristol in 1871. It was extended in 1880 and again in 1899.
